あらすじ（英語）
Miles Vorkosigan has graduated from the military and gets his first real posting...as a weatherman? Which he didn't specialise as. Weird. But he tries to do the job. Until one day he makes a choice, that seems right, but also means a new posting must be found. He's sent off to figure out, why a little area of space is suddenly seeing a lot of activity.
