Among the pioneer families colonizing the moon, hard work and loyalty overrode and intrigue and faction-forming that developed. But as the colonists settled, they had more to protect, and Mickey Sandoval is about to learn that politics aren't like butter, through which one cuts with ease. Rather they're more like a neck... <p>Mickey's sister Rho has bought 410 cryogenically frozen heads. She wants to read their memories, possibly revive them. <p>Rho's husband, William, is using the lunar facilities in a quest for absolute zero. A brilliant designer and theoretician, he may achieve it soon. <p>Mickey just wants everything to run smoothly. But the chances for that hit absolute zero when Rho discovers she has the head of K. D. Thierry. Thierry founded the Church of Logology, and the members of the Church now revere him. <p>If they knew that his last thoughts were, well... Mickey could sooner cut the moon than cut the politics."
